GK MOT and Tachograph Centre has been established since 2002 on Harlescott Industrial Estate. We are Shropshire's first family owned, independent Tachograph station and among the first nationwide to adopt computerised MOT testing and Digital Tachograph Services.

We are currently in the process of expanding our Shrewsbury workshop to include a second MOT testing lane that will allow us to deliver an even better service to our customers. We now also offer Air Conditioning servicing on a wide variety of vehicles.

We supply, fit, maintain and repair Tachographs and Sturdy^® Speed limiters to a wide range of light and heavy goods vehicles. We have competitive rates for fleet operators and pride ourselves on carrying out work wherever possible at a time to suit the operator, not ourselves!

We have three fully qualified Tachograph technicians who can carry out work on any make of vehicle or Tachograph. In addition to our comprehensive selection of Analogue Tachograph services, we also provide a full Digital Tachograph support package.

We are the only fully approved Actia^® main dealer in the West Midlands, offering SmarTach^® D-BOX digital download services with a dedicated Digital Tachograph support team on site. We also provide an interactive training programme tailored to suit the individual needs of our customers, either on site in our Shrewsbury workshop, or on clients' premises at a time convenient to the customer.

Our Shrewsbury workshop has the ability to accommodate high-sided vehicles and we can cater for Cars, Vans, Motorhomes and Minibuses.

We also carry out service and repair work and offer competitively priced maintenance contracts on a variety of vehicles. We currently maintain several minibuses for local schools and charity organisations (including WRVS, Age Concern and 1119 (Shrewsbury) Sqn Air Training Corps) on a highly competitive contract maintenance scheme.

We are happy to accept Cash, Cheques, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and most other forms of electronic payment^*. For our commercial contract customers we are happy to offer monthly invoicing and payments via BACS^**.
